Recorded in backyard, seagulls and children can be heard in the distance. Some cars drive past, a manhole cover is driven over. A car pulls away and beeps it’s horn. Trimmed version.

Recorded with a tascam dr-05x with gain at 75% and positioned by an open window. 10:00 am sunday, clear sky, cold with some ground frost. Background distant traffic noise and helicopter appears about halfway through the recording then some people's voices near the end. I've amplified this recording by around 8db, no other processing applied.

This is a recording made on an iphone se using the now discontinued sennheiser ambeo vr headset for binaural "3d" recording. This recording has not been processed in any way except for the levels which were normalized. Since it was a cold windy day, i believe i had the mics under a thin hat, which acted as a wind shield. This may have slightly muted the higher frequencies but it shielded the mics from wind noise. I will make some more recordings and share them.

Took my edirol 24bit recorder out to the local shopping village a few years back. I went for a walk through the car park and into the shopping center. Really some amazing sounds especially with delay added. I'll add more from this time and experiments if people seem interested. An alternative to the constant traffic flow at a high rate of speed found in the interstate sample. Cars and trucks stop and go at a major intersection of six-laned traffics.

I've spotted two skaters on a pavement and i decided to spend my last few free megabytes on the sounds they were making. The skaters were rolling on a hard pavement made of small square panels. Recorded with rare pair of xy mics of zoom h2 (hand-held) @ 96khz/24-bit. Unprocessed and unedited recording. Converted to flac with audacity.
